Halloween Treasures Slots

Halloween Treasures is a five-reel, 243-ways slot from Real Time Gaming (RTG). It takes you on an adventure in search of various Halloween artifacts.

You'll also meet some interesting characters along the way. You can find out more on everything that this slot has to offer below.

This game provides five reels on a 5x3 grid. You have 243 ways to win with each spin. Winning combinations are created when matching symbols land in adjacent reels. If you've played a 243-ways or Megaways slot before, then you'll experience no trouble adapting to this one.

Graphics & Atmosphere

The background features a brick wall with a few steps leading up to it. We're not really sure what the significance of this wall is or why it represents a Halloween treasure hunt.

Each side of the steps presents a small collection of pumpkins and candles. These decorations at least provide some sanity into an otherwise strange backdrop.

The music and sound effects seem better suited for a bank heist game. This is just another area that isn't really congruent with the theme.

Pay Table & Win Potential

Symbols include royals (A through 9), a vampire, pumpkin, candle, magical door, crystal ball, and gravestone. The gravestone, which features a robed skeleton in the background, serves as the wild symbol. It only lands on reel 3.

The magical door, which only appears on reels 2, 3, and 4, also acts as a wild. However, it won't combine with the gravestone to help form wins.

You can earn up to a massive 50,000x your stake. Assuming you bet the $8.88 maximum, you could haul in up to $440,000.

This game offers random golden symbols, which pay more than normal versions of the same icons. Depending upon the size of your wager, you can unlock more of these golden symbols.

You can collect scatter payouts and trigger free spins through the crystal ball symbol. The latter delivers payouts worth 5x, 10x, or 50x your stake for three, four, or five balls, respectively.

You launch free spins as long as you get 3+ scatters on the reels. Low-paying royals don't appear at all during the bonus round.

As mentioned before, the gravestone acts as a wild. It also provides a win multiplier ranging from 1x to 5x for whatever prize it helps create.

Betting Options

Halloween Treasures definitely offers a weird betting range. You can only wager between $0.88 and $8.88 per spin. We can't see extreme low rollers nor high-stakes players being happy with either end of the betting spectrum.

In any case, you stand to earn more bonuses by risking extra money. You unlock extra golden symbols and have a better chance at the 5x gravestone multiplier when betting $8.88.

The Halloween Treasures RTP is unknown. From our limited experience with the game, we imagine that it falls in the 95% to 96% range, which is okay.

The volatility with this game is in medium-to-high territory. We experienced some dry spells, but the two wild symbols did help us net plenty of payouts.

More on RTG

RTG is one of the industry's most-experienced developers. It has been making and releasing top-notch slots for over two decades now.

We're not quite sure that Halloween Treasures represents its best work. But RTG proves once again that they're a competent developer with this slot.

Overall Rating on Halloween Treasures Slots

We give Halloween Treasures a 7 out of 10 rating. The best aspects to this game include its multiple features and win potential.

You can look forward to two different wilds, a wild multiplier (gravestone only), golden symbols, and free spins. Add it all up, and you're looking at up to a 50,000x win.

Drawbacks to Halloween Treasures include its generic background and odd music. The atmosphere makes little-to-no sense, while the music is a very strange choice. Luckily, the symbols at least boast nice graphics.

In summary, Halloween Treasures doesn't exactly inspire that perfect late October feeling. But it could be worth a try due to its large maximum win and various features.
